Breakfast is served between the hours of 7.30-9.00am

We offer a variety of breakfast cereals plus milk and water.

Lunch is served at 11.30am.

We employ a fully qualified cook 5 days per week who cooks nutritionally balanced meals and snacks on a four week rota.

There is also a change from winter to summer menu so that the children get a variety of seasonal foods and snacks.

Afternoon snack is served at 3.00pm

We offer a variety of snacks including cheese and crackers, crumpets and vegetable sticks with dip.

Children are encouraged to try all foods and we cater for any special dietary requirements.

Personal Belongings

All children will need to bring a labelled bag with at least 2 changes of spare clothes plus any comforters that may need for during the day.

Babies milk feeds should be brought in either bottles or pots clearly labelled with their name. There is a baby feeds only fridge in the baby room to cater for this.

Key Person

All children will be allocated a key person and they will be responsible for liaising with parents and carer’s and for keeping updated records here at the nursery.

Each child's key person is chosen based on who the child bonds most with during their first few weeks at nursery and therefore your child may not have a key person straight away.

All children under the age of 2 will be given a daily diary which will be filled in each time they attend.

Parents as Partners

We welcome parents and carers into the nursery on a regular basis as part of our commitment to parental involvement in children’s learning and development. Such instances include open days, parents evening and sing along sessions.

We also have parent’s notice board and we welcome any comments or suggestions from our parents.

Parents may request to see their children’s learning journey record or key person at any time. Written reports on children’s progress are also provided termly.

The manager will always strive to make herself available to parents should they require an appointment to discuss any aspect of their child’s care.
